post cty update
It’s been over a month since my last entry! I can’t believe it. I’m back in West Virginia on the farm, listening to Ewan MacColl and terribly frustrated about all of the things I should have written in here already.
So much news from California.
Work ended in early August, and Justin came out to see me. We spent a little over a week hanging out in California, seeing everything and doing everything we could fit in (well, everything we could still fit in so long as we got to sleep in until at least 10.) Then, we came home on a train and spent nearly three solid days seeing the country. It was pure hell.
So, I have a lot of stories I really ought to write down before I forget them.
The problem is, I just installed PostNuke on the site, and, while I don’t really fully understand it, it provides a terrific diversion and a wonderful excuse not to do anything else.
In the meantime, I’m trying to make sure everything’s set for Ireland. I leave in about three weeks, on September 15.
Our lawsuit against West Virginia University’s free speech policy is also still going strong, and I understand that we filed our amended complaint this afternoon, answering the university’s latest word mincing.
Things I need to write about before I forget all about them: the coffee shops in California, the clubs in West Hollywood, the train ride home.
Soon, soon.
